Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives mapping technology trends through 2026
- Develop scenario-based roadmaps for emerging tech adoption (quantum computing, biotech, AI ethics)
- Collaborate with C-suite to align corporate strategy with future market shifts
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports with actionable recommendations
- Establish cross-functional innovation labs for prototyping 2026 solutions
- Represent the company at global futurism and tech policy forums
- Mentor junior strategists in futures research methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting or futurism with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in forecasting tech disruption (AI, climate tech, Web3)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Certified Futurist (CF) or similar professional designation preferred
- Published thought leadership on 2026+ technology implications
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex futures into business strategy
- Strong network with global futurist and academic communities
