Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive horizon scanning to identify emerging trends and disruptive technologies impacting 2026 business landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for 3-5 year strategic horizons, quantifying potential market impacts and opportunities
- Architect cross-functional innovation roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Establish ethical governance protocols for emerging technologies, ensuring alignment with ESG principles
- Present strategic foresight insights to executive stakeholders through compelling data narratives and visualizations
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-proof solutions and validate market readiness
- Lead cross-organizational workshops to embed foresight methodologies into strategic planning processes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology strategy with Fortune 500 experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and disruption modeling methodologies
- Deep technical fluency in AI/ML, blockchain, quantum computing, and synthetic biology
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with experience presenting to C-suite and board-level audiences
- Published thought leadership in foresight publications or peer-reviewed journals
- Experience building and leading cross-functional innovation teams in matrix organizations
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIF) or relevant technology governance frameworks
