Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 3-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Facilitate executive workshops on digital transformation and future-proofing business models
- Manage $2M+ annual R&D budget for strategic technology pilots
- Present futuristic insights to Fortune 500 clients and industry conferences
- Mentor cross-functional teams in technology adoption and change management
- Author thought leadership publications on technology disruption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging tech adoption (blockchain, AR/VR, neuromorphic computing)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Experience scaling tech startups from Series A to IPO
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with executive presentation experience
- Deep understanding of ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Published author or frequent keynote speaker at tech conferences
