Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends and market disruptions to forecast 2026+ technological inflection points
- Develop strategic roadmaps for AI-driven automation, quantum computing integration, and bio-digital convergence
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate futuristic concepts into actionable product roadmaps
- Partner with C-suite executives to align innovation initiatives with long-term business objectives
- Author thought leadership publications and present at industry conferences (CES, Web Summit)
- Manage a $5M innovation fund for prototype development and emerging technology validation
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years experience in strategic planning for emerging technologies
- Proven track record of publishing industry foresight reports or whitepapers
- Expertise in scenario planning methodologies and systems thinking frameworks
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology, quantum computing)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive stakeholders and technical teams
- Portfolio demonstrating successful implementation of futuristic strategies
