Responsibilities
- Develop 10-year technology roadmaps identifying paradigm-shifting innovations in AI, quantum, and synthetic biology
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives to prototype next-gen human-computer interfaces and autonomous systems
- Analyze global tech policy shifts and geopolitical implications on emerging technology adoption
- Partner with product teams to integrate futuristic capabilities into commercial products with 2026 launch targets
- Present strategic technology forecasts to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Establish innovation frameworks for ethical AI development and responsible tech deployment
- Mentor a team of futurists and technology architects to accelerate organizational foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Robotics, or Future Studies with 8+ years strategic tech experience
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/biotech) at scale
- Deep expertise in forecasting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning, horizon scanning)
- Published research or patents in transformative technologies with industry impact
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex socio-technical ecosystems
- Experience advising Fortune 500 CTOs on technology disruption strategies
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ major technology innovations launched in last 5 years
