Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps for next-gen AI and quantum integration
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in biotech and nanotechnology applications
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies and competitive threats
- Collaborate with C-suite to align tech strategy with business growth objectives
- Build and mentor high-performing innovation labs in SF and Austin
- Present strategic insights to investors and board members quarterly
- Drive ethical AI frameworks and sustainable tech implementation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech roles with 5+ years in emerging tech (AI/quantum/biotech)
- Proven track record of scaling technology products to $100M+ ARR
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in futures forecasting and technology adoption lifecycle modeling
- Strong network with VCs and global research institutions
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or major industry conferences
- Experience building and managing R&D teams of 15+ professionals
