Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional demeanor, answering inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Process sales transactions, returns, and exchanges accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Operate cash registers and handle cash, credit, and digital payments with strict accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment for customers.
- Stock shelves and inventory areas to ensure product availability and freshness.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily sales targets and operational goals.
- Handle customer complaints with patience and escalate complex issues to management when necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or sales is preferred but not required.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail for cash handling.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency with computers and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
