Responsibilities
- Provide tier 1 and tier 2 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of desktop computers, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Monitor system performance and proactively troubleshoot potential IT issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the network engineering team to ensure secure and efficient network operations.
- Conduct user training sessions to ensure staff are proficient with company software and security protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of all IT incidents and resolutions in the helpdesk database.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is a plus.
- 1-3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or a related technical role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Office Suite, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP), VPNs, and basic hardware components.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work full-time hours, including occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) are highly preferred.
