Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot complex electrical systems in industrial machinery
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, and local electrical codes
- Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on 480V systems
- Collaborate with engineering teams on automation and control systems
- Train junior technicians on safety protocols and best practices
- Manage inventory of electrical components and maintain accurate records
Qualifications
- 5+ years of industrial electrical experience with 480V systems
- Tennessee Journeyman Electrician license (or reciprocal state license)
- Proficiency with PLC programming (Allen-Bradley/Siemens)
- Strong diagnostic skills for VFDs, motor controls, and power distribution
- OSHA 10/30 certification and NFPA 70E arc flash training
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Associates degree in Electrical Technology preferred
