Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and oversee the implementation of complex AI systems, ensuring scalability, security, and performance for enterprise-level applications.
- Model Development: Lead the research and development of proprietary machine learning models, focusing on generative AI and reinforcement learning.
- Team Mentorship: Guide a team of junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and technical excellence.
- Strategy & Roadmap: Define the long-term technical vision for AI initiatives and collaborate with product management to translate business goals into technical requirements.
- Technical Consulting: Provide expert consultation on AI best practices, data governance, and ethical AI implementation to stakeholders across the organization.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize model inference speeds and resource utilization to reduce costs and improve user experience.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years specifically in AI/ML architecture and system design.
- Technical Skills: Deep proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Specialized Knowledge: Proven expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs), NLP, or Computer Vision is highly preferred.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications: Professional certification in cloud architecture or AI ethics is a plus.
