Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery and accurate documentation.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, vendors, and internal departments to resolve logistics issues.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in warehouse organization to maintain optimal storage conditions.
- Utilize logistics software to track shipments, generate reports, and update shipment statuses in real-time.
- Review shipping orders to determine the most cost-effective and efficient routing methods.
- Assist in the onboarding and training of new warehouse staff to maintain high operational standards.
- Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or customer service is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various warehouse facilities.
