Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Track inventory levels and maintain accurate records using logistics software.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse staff, and clients to resolve shipping discrepancies.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, including bills of lading and invoices.
- Monitor shipping costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Assist in training new warehouse staff on safety protocols and operational procedures.
- Perform daily cycle counts and report any inventory variances immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and logistics management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if necessary.
