Responsibilities
- Patrol the premises on foot or via vehicle to identify and address potential security risks, hazards, or breaches of safety protocols.
- Monitor and control access points, ensuring only authorized personnel and verified visitors enter the facility.
- Respond immediately to alarms, suspicious activities, and emergency situations, following established emergency procedures.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate, up-to-date logs of daily activities and observations.
- Conduct regular inspections of security equipment, fire safety systems, and perimeter fencing.
- Communicate effectively with law enforcement and emergency services during critical incidents.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid Security Guard License (or the ability to obtain licensure within 90 days of hire).
- Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by the schedule.
- Strong observation skills and the ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
