Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all nightly warehouse operations to ensure 100% adherence to safety protocols and company policies.
- Monitor inventory levels in real-time and coordinate with the day-shift team to facilitate a smooth operational handover.
- Execute precise quality control checks on incoming shipments and dispatches to minimize errors.
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to accurately track stock, update digital records, and generate daily reports.
- Identify operational bottlenecks during the night shift and implement immediate corrective actions to maintain workflow.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment, adhering to OSHA regulations.
- Assist in training new night-shift staff on standard operating procedures and safety equipment usage.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in Supply Chain or Logistics is preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or a related field.
- Proven ability to work independently and reliably during night shifts.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills.
- Familiarity with WMS software (e.g., SAP, Manhattan, Oracle) is a significant plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across shifts.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions.
