Responsibilities
- Package Sorting: Efficiently sort, scan, and distribute packages to designated storage areas during night operations.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to move inventory.
- Inventory Management: Conduct daily cycle counts and maintain accurate digital records of stock levels.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and report discrepancies immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with morning shift leads to ensure seamless workflow transitions.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not required (training provided).
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Certifications: Valid forklift certification is a plus.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
