Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to move inventory within the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts, stock replenishment, and ensure accurate tracking of all incoming and outgoing merchandise.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and stage customer orders with precision and speed to meet daily shipping targets.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for damage and ensure packaging meets company standards to prevent returns.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety protocols and housekeeping procedures.
- Load/Unload Operations: Load and unload trailers using proper equipment and techniques to prevent damage to goods.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (4:00 PM - 2:30 AM).
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a related field is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and walk on various surfaces.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and data entry.
- Communication: Ability to read and understand English and communicate effectively with team leads.
- Equipment Certification: Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory.
