Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials, products, and goods within the warehouse and to and from delivery vehicles using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Perform quality control checks on incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Organize, tag, and stock inventory in designated areas according to established safety and organizational standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment by following all safety protocols and company housekeeping policies.
- Assist in the preparation of orders for distribution, including packing, labeling, and verifying shipping documents.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to operate handheld scanners or warehouse management systems.
- Reliable transportation and a consistent attendance record.
- Forklift certification is a plus but not required for all entry-level positions.
