Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot Hardware & Software: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to computers, printers, and network connectivity for internal and external clients.
- Customer Interaction: Provide tier-1 technical support via phone, email, and chat, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.
- System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including software updates, patch management, and system backups.
- Documentation: Accurately log all support tickets, resolutions, and customer interactions into our CRM system.
- Issue Resolution: Escalate complex technical problems to senior engineers while keeping clients informed of progress.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the IT department to identify trends and improve overall system performance.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in IT or related field is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in technical support, help desk, or customer service (1-2 years preferred).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking concepts.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
