Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for machine learning and optimization tasks.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum circuit fidelity and reduce error rates.
- Analyze quantum hardware performance data to improve algorithmic efficiency and scalability.
- Develop simulation environments for testing quantum models before deployment on physical hardware.
- Conduct research on error mitigation techniques and noise reduction strategies.
- Present technical findings to cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Stay ahead of the curve by researching emerging trends in quantum computing and AI.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Strong proficiency in Python and quantum computing frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane.
- Deep understanding of linear algebra, probability theory, and quantum mechanics fundamentals.
- Experience with classical machine learning libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and their quantum counterparts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, research-driven environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum Experience, Amazon Braket) is a plus.
