Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning models for real-world applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Optimize quantum algorithms for scalability and fault tolerance in production environments
- Secure $5M+ in research grants by publishing in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor PhD candidates and junior researchers in quantum computing principles
- Develop proprietary quantum neural networks with 10x current efficiency benchmarks
- Partner with NASA and DARPA on next-gen quantum encryption protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum simulators
- Published research in quantum machine learning or top-tier conferences
- Expertise in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and low-level quantum assembly
- Proven track record of patenting quantum algorithms or breakthrough technologies
- Experience with superconducting qubits or ion-trap systems
- Security clearance eligibility for government-funded projects
