Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum neural network architectures
- Design hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for machine learning applications
- Collaborate with Nobel laureates on breakthrough quantum error correction protocols
- Secure $2M+ annual research funding through federal grants and industry partnerships
- Publish findings in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Mentor PhD researchers and drive technical talent development
- Translate theoretical models into scalable production systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of quantum algorithm development experience
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum computing
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Strong background in distributed systems and high-performance computing
- Proven ability to secure federal research grants (NSF, DARPA, etc.)
- Experience leading technical teams of 10+ researchers
