Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for next-gen AI systems
- Collaborate with quantum hardware teams to optimize algorithm performance on 50+ qubit processors
- Lead research projects in quantum neural network optimization and error correction
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical models for real-world industrial applications
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to open-source quantum ML frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane)
- Expertise in deep learning architectures (CNNs, RNNs, Transformers)
- Strong mathematical background in linear algebra, probability, and information theory
- Publication record in top-tier AI/quantum computing conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, QIP)
- Proficiency with high-performance computing environments and GPU acceleration
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical research into practical implementations
