Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures leveraging superconducting qubits and topological quantum systems
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing operations
- Lead cross-functional teams integrating quantum accelerators with classical HPC infrastructure
- Create quantum algorithms for optimization problems in drug discovery and materials science
- Establish security frameworks for quantum-resistant cryptography systems
- Research and implement quantum machine learning models for predictive analytics
- Document architecture blueprints and publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, or Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance principles
- Track record of publishing research in Nature/Science or equivalent journals
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong background in high-performance computing architectures
- Proven ability to lead complex technical projects through to completion
