Responsibilities

- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing interfaces for enterprise solutions
- Secure $50M+ in R&D grants through innovative proposal development
- Establish industry standards for quantum security protocols
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum computing
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum development frameworks
- Proven track record of scaling quantum systems beyond 1000 qubits
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes and topological qubits
- Experience securing government/DoD quantum computing contracts
- Strong proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level hardware interfacing
