Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for machine learning and optimization problems
- Lead quantum system integration with classical HPC infrastructure
- Research and mitigate quantum decoherence and error correction challenges
- Create quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptography systems
- Mentor cross-functional teams on quantum computing principles and applications
- Contribute to quantum computing standards and open-source frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware design
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proven track record of publishing in top quantum computing journals or conferences
- Strong background in high-performance computing and distributed systems
- Experience with quantum cloud platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Excellent communication skills for translating complex quantum concepts
