Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum algorithms for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-classical hybrid computing architectures
- Optimize qubit coherence times and error correction protocols at cryogenic temperatures
- Partner with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical supercomputers
- Develop patent-pending quantum machine learning frameworks for predictive analytics
- Present breakthrough research at IEEE Quantum Week and Nature Quantum conferences
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in cutting-edge superconducting qubit technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years hands-on quantum programming with Qiskit, Cirq, or Q# frameworks
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Proficiency in cryogenic quantum system engineering and microwave control electronics
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and variational quantum algorithms
- Experience securing DARPA/NSF quantum computing grants ($500K+)
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks and NISQ-era limitations
