Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures using Q# and D-Wave systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for enterprise-level optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-resistant encryption protocols
- Research and mitigate quantum decoherence challenges at room temperature
- Create fault-tolerant quantum circuits for pharmaceutical simulation and financial modeling
- Establish quantum security frameworks for critical infrastructure protection
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development and quantum circuit design
- Expertise in quantum error correction and topological quantum computing
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum information theory or quantum machine learning
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and photonic quantum processors
- Strong background in computational complexity theory
