Responsibilities
- Design quantum algorithms and circuits for optimization problems in logistics, finance, and materials science
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing systems with 99.9% fidelity
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and AI specialists
- Develop error correction protocols for 1,000+ qubit systems
- Translate business requirements into quantum computing roadmaps
- Secure patents and publish research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science)
- Maintain compliance with NIST quantum security standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 8+ years experience considered)
- Proven expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with superconducting qubit architectures or ion trap systems
- Publication record in quantum algorithm development
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Proficiency in cloud quantum platforms (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Ability to communicate complex quantum concepts to non-technical stakeholders
