Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum circuit architectures for commercial-scale applications
- Develop quantum error correction frameworks achieving fault-tolerant operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum processors with classical systems
- Lead quantum algorithm optimization for NISQ-era devices and fault-tolerant systems
- Research and implement novel quantum computing protocols for 2026 industry challenges
- Secure and manage quantum cloud infrastructure deployment
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish research in peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years designing quantum algorithms or quantum error correction systems
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, trapped ion, photonic)
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel processing
