Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures with error correction capabilities
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for practical real-world applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum hardware-software interfaces
- Establish quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptography systems
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (photonic, topological, etc.)
- Create technical roadmaps aligning with 2026 quantum computing milestones
- Collaborate with academic institutions and industry partners on quantum standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 8+ years experience)
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proven experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware (superconducting, ion traps, photonic)
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel systems
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Experience leading technical teams and complex R&D projects
- Familiarity with NISQ-era limitations and fault-tolerance strategies
