Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures using Qiskit and Cirq frameworks
- Develop novel quantum algorithms to solve complex optimization and simulation problems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into classical computing environments
- Lead research initiatives in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum literacy initiatives across the organization
- Secure and manage research partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design, quantum algorithms, and quantum error correction
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation tools
- Strong background in high-performance computing and distributed systems
- Track record of peer-reviewed publications in quantum computing research
- Experience securing government grants and corporate research funding
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts into practical business solutions
- Active security clearance preferred (or ability to obtain)
