Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum circuit architectures for 1000+ qubit systems
- Develop error-correction protocols using topological qubit implementations
- Optimize quantum algorithms for hybrid quantum-classical workflows
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum hardware-software integration
- Secure US DoE/NASA grants for applied quantum research initiatives
- Author patents in quantum machine learning frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
- 3+ years developing quantum algorithms using Qiskit/Cirq frameworks
- Expertise in quantum error correction (surface/colour codes)
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum systems
- Proficiency in quantum circuit optimization (QAOA/VQE)
- Security clearance preferred for government projects
- Experience with superconducting qubit manipulation
