Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for enterprise applications
- Optimize qubit connectivity and gate operations on superconducting platforms
- Lead integration of quantum accelerators with cloud computing infrastructure
- Research novel quantum materials and cryogenic system architectures
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish breakthrough research
- Collaborate with product teams to define quantum computing roadmaps
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing algorithm design
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals/conferences
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and quantum hardware interfaces
- Strong background in high-performance computing architectures
