Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise clients
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms optimizing for 100+ qubit systems
- Lead cross-functional teams of quantum physicists and software engineers
- Conduct security audits for quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols
- Collaborate with hardware teams on qubit stabilization techniques
- Publish research in IEEE Transactions on Quantum Engineering
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum error correction methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or quantum software
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Certification in IBM Quantum or Google Quantum AI platforms
- Experience with quantum machine learning libraries (PennyLane, Qibo)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts to stakeholders
