Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures leveraging superconducting qubits and topological systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead quantum hardware integration with cloud platforms (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Collaborate with research teams to push quantum error correction boundaries
- Translate theoretical quantum advantage into practical industry solutions
- Mentor junior scientists in quantum programming (Q#, Qiskit) and experimental protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC codes)
- Proven track record in quantum algorithm development for NISQ devices
- Deep knowledge of quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, photonic, trapped ion)
- Strong publication record in Nature/Science/Physical Review journals
- Certification in quantum cloud platforms (AWS/Azure Quantum)
- Experience securing $1M+ in quantum research funding
