Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop quantum algorithms solving previously intractable computational problems
- Create hybrid quantum-classical integration frameworks for real-world deployment
- Lead research initiatives in quantum error correction and decoherence mitigation
- Architect quantum security protocols post-quantum cryptography standards
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop quantum-enhanced machine learning models
- Translate quantum theoretical concepts into practical engineering blueprints
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and classical high-performance computing
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Demonstrated experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in quantum information theory and quantum many-body systems
- Expertise in compiling quantum circuits for NISQ-era and fault-tolerant devices
