Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead research on quantum error correction and qubit stabilization techniques
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions with classical systems
- Develop quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Stay ahead of emerging quantum technologies through continuous research and experimentation
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical documentation and patents
- Present quantum computing strategies to C-suite executives and key stakeholders
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum computing research or implementation
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms and quantum error correction
- Strong background in high-performance computing and distributed systems
- Proven ability to translate complex quantum concepts into actionable business strategies
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, etc.)
