Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Optimize quantum algorithms for NISQ-era and fault-tolerant processors
- Collaborate with hardware teams to define quantum processor specifications
- Lead quantum security initiatives for next-gen cryptographic systems
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish research in peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum architecture design
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware constraints (superconducting, trapped ion, photonic)
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Experience with high-performance computing architectures
