Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum circuit architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Optimize hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for machine learning and cryptography
- Lead cross-functional teams of quantum physicists, software engineers, and domain experts
- Drive R&D in quantum hardware-software co-design and quantum networking
- Translate business requirements into quantum computing roadmaps
- Secure patents and publish research in top-tier quantum computing journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development or quantum system architecture
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and high-performance computing
- Proven track record of publishing quantum computing research or commercial deployments
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (ion traps, superconducting qubits, photonics)
- Strong background in cryptography, machine learning, or computational physics
