As a Quantum Computing Research Scientist, you'll work alongside Nobel laureates and industry pioneers to develop quantum algorithms, optimize qubit stability, and architect next-generation quantum processors. Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental research in qubit coherence and error correction methodologies
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to develop scalable quantum processor architectures
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at leading quantum computing conferences
- Develop quantum simulation frameworks for industrial applications in finance, pharmaceuticals, and logistics
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to open-source quantum computing initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of quantum research experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Track record of publications in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems or superconducting qubits preferred
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into experimental prototypes
