Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop quantum error correction protocols achieving 99.9% fidelity thresholds
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid systems with legacy infrastructure
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Establish quantum security frameworks for next-gen data encryption standards
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in quantum circuit optimization techniques
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and venture partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or quantum hardware architectures
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum platforms
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Security clearance eligibility for DoD quantum research projects
