Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms targeting optimization problems in finance and logistics
- Lead research on quantum error correction techniques for 100+ qubit systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical HPC infrastructure
- Create quantum security protocols resistant to 2030-era cryptographic threats
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory and experimental physics
- Publish findings in Nature Physics and IEEE Quantum Journal
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and algorithm development
- Familiarity with quantum annealing platforms (D-Wave, Rigetti) and superconducting qubits
- Strong background in topological quantum computing and Majorana fermions
- Experience with quantum machine learning frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
