Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum circuit architectures for industrial-scale applications
- Develop error-correction protocols enabling fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Collaborate with physicists and engineers to optimize qubit coherence times
- Create hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for real-world deployment
- Lead quantum algorithm optimization for NISQ-era hardware constraints
- Establish quantum security protocols post-quantum cryptography transition
- Publish research in quantum computing architectures and topology
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum hardware/software architecture design
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerance techniques
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum topology and topological qubits
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Experience leading technical teams in R&D environments
- Knowledge of post-quantum cryptographic standards (NIST PQ-CRYPTO)
