Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures optimized for 2026-era applications
- Develop quantum error correction protocols and fault-tolerant computing frameworks
- Create hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Lead cross-functional teams of quantum physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Research emerging quantum technologies (topological qubits, photonic computing) for commercial viability
- Collaborate with industry partners to identify quantum computing use cases in finance, logistics, and pharmaceuticals
- Document quantum system architectures and publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, quantum error correction, and fault-tolerant design
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Strong background in superconducting qubits, ion traps, or photonic quantum systems
- Proven track record of developing quantum solutions for complex optimization problems
- Experience leading R&D teams and managing quantum computing infrastructure
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware limitations and emerging technologies post-2025
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields from top-tier conferences
