Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for commercial deployment
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical workflows for optimization and simulation problems
- Create quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols for 2026-era security infrastructure
- Lead quantum algorithm development for drug discovery and climate modeling
- Establish quantum hardware-software integration standards
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish breakthrough research
- Collaborate with global quantum networks on interoperability standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant design
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM, Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy thresholds and NISQ limitations
