Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures optimized for error correction and fault tolerance
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for real-world industrial applications
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum hardware-software co-design
- Collaborate with physicists to implement quantum gate operations and qubit control systems
- Document quantum system specifications and publish research in peer-reviewed journals
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Drive quantum cybersecurity protocols for post-quantum encryption standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and qubit manipulation techniques
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Q#, Cirq)
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Experience with cryogenic systems and quantum hardware integration
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional technical teams
- Knowledge of NISQ-era limitations and 2026 quantum roadmap milestones
