Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical 2026 applications
- Optimize quantum circuit performance on hybrid classical-quantum systems
- Develop error mitigation techniques for near-term quantum devices
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum acceleration into machine learning workflows
- Lead quantum security protocols for next-gen encryption standards
- Publish research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proven track record of optimizing quantum algorithms for real-world problems
- Expertise in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (IBM Q Experience, Rigetti Forest)
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or related fields
