Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical 2026 industry applications
- Optimize qubit stability in cryogenic systems using error-correction protocols
- Collaborate with MIT/Caltech partners on quantum machine learning frameworks
- Lead cross-functional teams translating theoretical models into deployable solutions
- Publish research in Nature Quantum or IEEE journals
- Develop patentable quantum hardware-software interfaces
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years experience with Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum assembly languages
- Published work in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with parallel computing frameworks
- Familiarity with quantum annealing systems (D-Wave, Rigetti)
- Security clearance eligibility for government quantum projects
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum processors
