Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional quantum algorithm development teams
- Design and optimize quantum error correction protocols
- Secure $5M+ in government/private research funding
- Develop patent-pending quantum hardware architectures
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and similar forums
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Establish industry partnerships with IBM Quantum, Rigetti, and D-Wave
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Information
- 5+ years of quantum computing research experience
- Published work in Nature/Science or IEEE journals
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum assembly languages
- Demonstrated success in securing federal research grants
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems
- Active QCE (Quantum Computing Engineer) certification
