Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for cryptography and optimization applications
- Publish 2+ peer-reviewed papers annually in Nature/Science journals
- Manage team of 5 PhD researchers and 3 quantum hardware engineers
- Secure $1M+ in government/private research grants
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with IBM/Google quantum computing teams on industry standards
- Present findings at Davos Tech Summit and IEEE Quantum Week
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with superconducting qubit systems
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and Q# programming frameworks
- Strong background in quantum error correction theory
- Proven track record of securing research funding
- Experience managing cross-functional technical teams
- Security clearance preferred (ability to obtain required)
